THE FIRST EVER BELLYSIMA FOOD FESTIVAL HITS GLORIETTA

Last September 6 2014, Glorietta once again gave their shoppers another exciting reason to celebrate and create memories by giving their valued customers a belly-full of goodness in partnership with Mercato Centrale Group and Our Awesome Planet as they brought BellySima - The first ever food fair. 

BellySima features artisans, gourmet and organic food and also non-food items in one stop. 

Its also the first ever buffet the features all things healthy and organic from home made cakes, juices and snacks made from organic ingredients that are fresh from the farms! 

I was able to sample some and to be honest I was bit floored with all the choices. One of the top picks I would say is Moo-La-la homemade ice cream because they have flavors that are so good like coffee and strawberry! 

Second pick is Tummy Topps because they have this very yummy basil pesto spread that is good with anything. This is also home made and I was able to chat with its owner. 

For shoppers who have a 1,000PHP receipt from Glorietta 3 and 5 merchants and restaurants and also Palm Drive restaurants may enter for FREE. Also VIPinoy and Amore cardholders may enter for FREE as well. 

 Tickets are sold via The Mercato Centrale Group will also be available at P50 at the Registration Booth.

Once inside those that have bought a ticket are given a card in which they can score each participant of the fair 1 being the lowest to 5 being the highest!

Glorietta continues to push the boundaries and provide shoppers with unique, one-of-

a-kind selection of products; shoppers will also get to discover new holiday gifts and 

delicious new food alternatives for a healthier lifestyle!

I am so excited to attend an event that is perfect for both artisanal & gourmet food lovers and natural, healthy & organic food advocates will definitely enjoy!

HOW CAN FOOD SUPPLIERS BENEFIT FROM BELLY-SIMA 

 

There is NO registration fee for home-based food and non-food vendors and suppliers – but you need to provide bite-sized taste portions and/or samples of your products for the attendees.  

 

You can also sell your products to attendees of the event. 

 

The top and best-selling participants will be FEATURED in the food blog site Our Awesome Planet, which has a following of over 1 Million readers and be exposed to a whole new set of food lovers; and will be offered FREE slots in Mercato Centrale’s upcoming weekly artisanal/gourmet and natural/healthy/organic market in Glorietta for the BER Months!  

 

HOW MUCH ARE THE TICKETS?  

P100/person. Inclusive of food taste portions of all participating food vendors (while supplies last) Senior citizens and Ayala VIPinoy Card, the A-Card, BPI-Ayala Malls Amore cardholders get 10% discount.  

WHAT ARE THE TICKET GUIDELINES: 

 

1. HOW TO BUY YOUR TICKETS. Payments are to be settled through cash.  

 

2. Ticket payments can be made through Mercato Centrale Office or Glorietta concierge.  

 

MERCATO CENTRALE OFFICE: 5th floor, OPL Building, de la Rosa corner C. Palanca Streets, Legaspi Village, Makati.  

GLORIETTA CONCIERGE: Glorietta concierge along Palm Drive (near Holiday Inn entrance), Makati. 

 

3. We recommend that you buy tickets ahead of time. You can buy tickets on the day itself, but there is no guarantee that that there will still be tickets because there are only a limited amount of tickets available.  

 

4. All sold tickets are non-refundable. 

 

5. Children aged 7 and below are welcome to enter Belly-sima but will not be given a score card and wrist band. If the children wish to participate in Belly-sima, they are free to purchase the ticket at the regular price.
