Affordable Awesome Burger at Wham

Cravings usually get the best and worst of me. I crave for something to be made fast yet satisfying. The only problem is not all burgers are created the same: Some are grilled while most unfortunately are fried.

Then back in 2000, good friends Tony Yap and Dondi Lazaro began experimenting on their own concoctions because there isn't anything in the market of a legendary burger since it may be a burger from a fast food chain or something from is so expensive that its not really something that most can be a craving.

As a foodie, I have actually grown tired of the typical burger that fast foods offer because not only they are not satisfying they are also unhealthy. But now food lovers can have an awesome burger in a casual-style restaurant.

Wham Burger was near an instant hit in Quezon City because of its serving - Huge, Hearty and tucked with impeccably good beef.

The interior of Wham Burgers is like if you are in a comic book. Its simple yet catchy and also has a touch of the younger years for some. They even have a burger that is named after a comic scene it denotes to - Kapow!

Wham burgers doesn't have any complicated ingredients such as MSG because they want to remain on top for having a satisfying burger with that real beef taste.

I was able to try their newest additions: Slider Trios and Spaghetti Fries!

Okay let me just say that even though Wham Burgers are at par with gourmet burgers in the metro the price isn't too much for my wallet.

Lets start with the sliders trio.

The sliders trio is basically smaller version of its bigger counter parts.  But these are not the ordinary sliders that we know. They are about twice as big as a regular slider.

For 250php it consists of The Wham Burger, The Wham Burger with cheese and the Bacon Burger. If you have a very very big appetite you can actually eat these but I suggest share this with a friend because although they are small in size they pack the same taste to their regular counterpart with its juicy patties and flavorful mix.

If you think Wham's side dishes are just friea- you are definitely wrong. Their newest addition, the spaghetti fries actually got me amazed because it contains two of my favorite food in the world: Spaghetti and Fries~! It is quite nice and the sauce is really like spaghetti. Prices at 70php this is also good for sharing with your friends.

I would really recommend these the next time you get a craving.

Wham Burgers is located at three branches: Katipunan, SM North Edsa (The Block), and Mall of Asia. For more information, visit www.whamburgers.com. Follow Social Media Accounts: Wham! Burger on Facebook, WhamBurgersPH on Twitter, and whamburgersph on Instagram.

Yoshinoya Brings Japan's Famous Beef Bowl Back at SM Mall of Asia!

Prepare yourself for a new flavor in town - Yoshinoya is re-opening its Mall of Asia branch!

Located at Unit 107 Ground Floor, North Wing of SM Mall of Asia, Yoshinoya opens its doors again to the public famously known for their steamy bowl of Gyudon or Beef Bowls.

Currently there are six (6) stores in Manila: Fairview Terraces, SM Megamall, SM North EDSA, SM Manila, Robinson's Galleria, Glorietta and SM Mall of Asia.

The event was opened by a blessing of the store and messages from Mr. Timothy James Yang, President / General Manager of Ihanat Foods Inc. and also guests from the Japanese Embassy.

As it is home to delicious modern Japanese comfort food, we were served their famous beef bowls and also other delicacies like their Shiitake shumai and Tiramisu!

There were also cosplayers at the event and also Yoshinoya's 'face' if you might say. The cosplayers at the event were really fun and also they were entertaining.

Since 2001, Yoshinoya has offered high quality food at affordable prices with exceptional friendly service to its patrons.

you love Japanese food make sure to visit Yoshinoya at Mall of Asia soon and taste their famous beef bowl.

Yoshinoya Mall of Asia is located at Unit 107 Ground Floor, North Wing of SM Mall of Asia. They are near SM Hypermart.

Are you Ready for KFC's Double Decker?

Hello there! Its Saturday again and I just thought to drop by and share this post with you guys.

Since I started this food blog, I have really been out and about trying all the food finds I can find. But because I am trying to lose weight, I have to minimize my food finding trips. Luckily I was able to get a hold of this a couple of weeks ago when my friend was feeling down due to a break up.

I usually suggest to my friends that are in a bit of a heartbreak situation to pig out. Either on pastries, ice cream, candies and anything else they have in mind. I would suggest munching on chocolates but my friend doesn't want chocolates so I suggested maybe chicken would be great.

Drinkin' at Gilligans in MOA by the Bay

I rarely go to Mall of Asia since its too far from my house and usually most of the items there are really expensive. Call be a cheapskate but its true.

But a couple of days ago me and my office mates went there to have dinner. I was a little hyped up since its most of a bonding experience with two of my new officemates and we didn't have work that night.

Me and my office mate Katie went to Gilligan's to check out their night scene. I was quite surprised that even though it was a Wednesday there were a lot of people enjoying good food and also good drinks. But I was not in Gilligan's for their food, I'll do that next time. But for now I'll be showing you one of their drinks which is the original margarita.

This drink may look harmless but the more ice it has on the more intense the alcohol will be. I have tried this drink a couple of times and it never fails to make me want to say why did I order this?!? haha! joking aside this drink is a good drink on a hot summer night. Ever though its not summer anymore here in Manila the hot weather makes this drink a good one to have with your girlfriends.

The drink we had was in a pitcher  which costs around 270PHP (approx 6.26USD)

It can only be good for two serving which was a big bummer since a single serve of this is only 95 PHP (Approx 2.20USD)

Lesson to remember: Not all things in a pitcher will save you!

I still like Gilligan's but I wish their cocktails will be a bit bigger. I just hope.
