Milk Tea Cravings Satisfied with ZTea Cups

Honestly its been a while and I think its time I need to be back to blogging. I MISS WRITING! HONESTLY!

Okay since we are back to business I would just like to share to you this milk tea place I collaborated with for a video about a month ago. Yes I know its weird that its just now that I decided to share to you this but just remember that we are on a state of pandemic and I don't want to be that person people will cancel just because I share food posts - There are people like that look it up! haha!
Okay enough with the chit chat lets get on with this my dearies.

Ztea Cups is a small business that offers milk tea, fruit tea and other specialty drinks. They are located at Veterans Village here in Quezon City but they do offer delivery.

They sent me four drinks which were the Mango Yakult Fruit Tea, Red Velvet Overload, Premium Chocolate and Oreo cheesecake overload.

I am going to be 100% honest here but their milk tea is one of the best. It may be a month since I last tried their drinks and did a video on it but I swear the taste does last.

I would definitely try their Oreo Cheesecake Overload because I remember it was like a whole cheesecake slice was put in the drink by how thick it is. The premium red velvet cheesecake as well is amazing because the consistency is not that watered down and also the cream cheese they add on the drinks are definitely homemade compared to those made with a powder agent which tends to have a gritty sand-like texture compared to the homemade version. Ztea Cups is definitely legit for sure.

If you want to order from Ztea Cups and try their amazing drinks you can order via their Official Facebook here. You can also order via food Panda if you are within 3KM Delivery Radius. But don't worry they do have an in house delivery that has free delivery within Brgy. Veterans Villahe, Bungad, San Antonio and Katipunan.

Their delivery charges to nearby areas are also quite affordable at around P30 to P49 if you are within Cubao, Tatalon, Q.Ave, Timog and nearby locations.

Address:

2 Danupra Street Brgy. Veterans Village Quezon City

Business Hours:

WEEKDAYS: 11AM-7PM

WEEKENDS: 12NN -7:30PM

Check out Ztea Cups and have a great time with their one of a kind drinks this quarantine! And also lets not forget to support small brands such as these that give out great products even during this time.

Much Love!

Smile To Go Now Open in Mendiola Manila!

Okay I know I need to apologize since I am using pictured from my phone again since my memory card decided to get corrupted for some weird reason but just hold on to it I promise it won't happen again!

So since we are done with the apologies, I am just too tired this past few days that I have been craving milk tea. Luckily I was invited to see the opening of the latest branch of Smile To Go in Mendiola.

Although it looks small on the outside, its actually quite spacious inside and it can fit large groups of student who are studying or if you just want a place if you didn't want to go to class (don't me kids, I've been there too)

During their opening, they had a promo which is buy one take one on some of their drinks, and the whole place was packed! There were already students flowing in to go to the internet cafe that is located above Smile To Go to study and also the groups of student on the area.

One of the perks of this place is that they are open for 24 hours so its really amazing if you are in the area and you need a quiet place to study at night because that was one of my struggles when I was in college. Another thing is their prices are just fit for the budget of students since it ranges from 100 pesos to 125 pesos. Their beverage selection is also amazing since it ranges not just with the usual milk teas but also fruit teas, slush, and also Yakult based drinks.

Here are my top picks for you guys

2 Ladies Milk Tea
This is the 2 Ladies Milk Tea which consists of milk tea with two toppings which can range from nata crystals with pearls or pudding. I was able to try the one with pudding and I would highly suggest the pudding if you want your milk tea to be a little more creamy and sweet which getting this with a different kind of pearl to give it more texture.

Super Fresh Fruit Tea
If you need a refreshing pick me up The Super Fresh Fruit Tea is what I can recommend for you. It is an acquired taste but honestly the fruits like mango, calamansi, lemon, and also watermelon is quite unique that its definitely a great mood booster as well since citrus fruits can energize our body and mind.

Oreo Cream Cheesecake Milk Tea
Lastly, I would be recommending the Oreo Cream Cheesecake Milk Tea if you are someone that is looking for a creamy sweet flavor that is great when you are hanging out with your friends. I have always put this kind of drink as the perfect drink to have with friends because you don't really feel that you are drinking too much and also it doesn't get watered down that much since it has been blended together.

I do hope Smile To go will open a brand near me so I can go back and try more of their drinks because three is definitely not enough haha!

For more Smile To Go check out their social media pages.

Much Love!

Be in Bloom with Sakura Hanami

 \
One of the things I love is Milk Tea because why not right? And if you know me too well you know that I love a new place where I can enjoy milk tea and take cute pictures of it.

And I just found probably the cutest Milk tea place ever! The coolest info about this is it is located in Maginhawa st. Q.C. - insert me fainting out of sheer excitement.

I am talking about Sakura Hanami!

I actually saw several posts about other blogger friends of mine that have visited Sakura Hanami before and because I was too busy it slipped off my mind of visit them. I am super thankful though to my new found friends from Hungry Byaheros in inviting me to chat one afternoon for this!

So what is Sakura Hanami all about?

If you guessed that they are inspired by the Japanese Cherry Blossom well you get an online hug because that is their whole aesthetic! The whole place screams Sakura or Japanese Cherry Blossom which is just too cute not to pass out on.

One of the coolest things about Sakura Hanami is their menu is not just all about milk tea but rather have a variety of other ways to enjoy Japanese-inspired tea. We were able to try their best sellers and I am not surprised why these were the favorites in Sakura Hanami because everything was just amazing but I do have my favorites.

1. Red Velvet Milk Tea

Ever imagined having a red velvet cupcake transformed into a drink? THIS.IS.IT. It is creamy, sweet, and flavorful without the overwhelming sensation that you might have consumed too many to pray for forgiveness. I do love this drink as more as a dessert treat after dinner and I would say its best to enjoy this with your friend.

2. Hanami Dream

The second drink is what I would call the instagram drink fit for your dreams. The colors were so mesmerizing it was just like its name - A Dream. The Hanami Dream is quite sweet but if you want to enjoy something on a hot day this will be my recommendation to you.

3. Hot Tea

I have been a tea drinker even before milk tea came into existence. Sakura Hanami actually offer a different kind of tea drinking experience because they are just too cute and soothing too. The ones that we tried were the Traditional Cherry Blossom Tea, Blue Pea Fruit Tea and the Blossom Ethereal Tea. All of these were great to enjoy with friends if you want to feel a little fancy and soothe your stress away with tea.

4. Sakura Signature Bubble Tea (Extra Strength)

This is actually the one I am quite excited  about because this is my utmost favorite from all the milk tea that I have tried. If you noticed this has Extra Strength added to it not to scare you but because its to those that prefer a stronger tea flavor on their milk tea. This is by far my favorite and although its sweet and creamy the tea flavor is not lacking in any way. The pearls also had some flavor into it that its such a delight to my taste buds.

Another thing I might add is their drink are quite affordable. The bigger sizes are just around 100 - 200 pesos range which amazing because it can be fit for 2-3 person per serving so you get a bang for your buck.

Also aside from the teas they serve, you can also buy Sakura themed drinks like latte or flavored water which is just too cute to just put in display!

Sakura Hanami is located at 168 Maginhawa St. Diliman, Q.C.

Check out their Facebook and Instagram pages for more information!

Moonleaf Celebrates 9 Years in the business with 9 Pesos Milktea!

Moonleaf is one of the the most prominent milk tea shops in the Philippines and since they have turned 9 years in the business they decided to treat their patrons with 9 pesos milk teas for the first 100 customers.

I am very thankful to be part of the event and I was able to try some of their dishes too.

And I was able to try the cheese cloud on two of my favorite milk tea in Moonleaf - Thai Milk Tea and Thai Pink Tea.

Cheese Cloud is one of the newest add on to your milk tea at Moonleaf which brings out a whole new creaminess to your favorite milk tea. I might change up my milk tea order because of this because I want to try it out with the other drinks Moonleaf offers its crazy about all the possibilities.

I am actually surprised with the food that Moonleaf offers because for the longest time I actually haven't tried their pasta and I am super in love with their tuna pesto because its oozing with flavor and its just...amazing because I love pesto haha!

The one thing I always order though is their desserts because they are perfect with their drinks. My favorite is definitely the cheesecake although I hoped for chocolate cake but a girl can dream no? haha!

Congratulations Moonleaf for being in the business for 9 years! I hope you have more years to bring amazing milk tea for everyone and for more new flavors for everyone to enjoy.

Check out Moonleaf Tea on their official social media pages for information about their latest promos and launches.

Jelly G Review and Their Must Try Specialties!

With all the milk tea places that have been popping up in the metro there is a lot of options to choose from.

But besides from that did you know that those milk teas that you have been drinking isn't just refreshing but actually good for you?

I was able to try one of them thru Jelly G.

Jelly G is a Thai-inspired milk tea place that boasts of an all Thai inspired treats for its patrons.

One of them is the spicy dried mangoes.

These came straight from Thailand and I think would be great to munch on if you are hanging out with your friends at the mall. Its sweet, tart, and has a little kick of spiciness into it that most teens will enjoy.

One of their other specialties is their Thai Milk tea. I have tried other Thai milk teas and most of them are on the sweet side while this one is close to an authentic Thai milk tea. Its a bit bitter but is sweet in the long run.

The black thing on top is grass jelly. Unlike other milk tea places they topped their Thai milk tea with grass jelly that is home made which give it a refreshing aftertaste.

Thai milk tea takes a bit of getting used to but if you want something warm Jelly G also offers warm drinks such as their Jasmine Green Tea.

Its sweet and also has a fragrance because of the Jasmine. Its really nice to drink this one if you want to feel warm. Its topped off with some marshmallows for a sweet twist.

Caramel with Ice Cream is also one of their top sellers as well. Its a milk tea with caramel and topped off with Ice cream!

Its sweet but not overwhelming to the palette and I like that this milk tea has more of a soothing after taste unlike other milk teas that has caramel in it.

One of the things that is over looked at Jelly G's menu is their bread choices.

They have these toasted breads that you can make your own that are as cheap as 55php! I was able to try the Choco Banana which was recommended to us.

The spread actually is home made as well and its quite thick but not very sweet. Topped with banana slices I think this will be great with kids.

Pandan Delight for one is an under rated specialty of this place. The spread is really nice and refreshing that I think if you have a penchant for pandan you will reach out for this as well.

Out of the three of course I was able to try Spicy Tuna!

I really need to save this for last because this is I think the best for me. The spread is really nice topped with red pepper powder that is home made I think was really nice and not too spicy.

If you want to try these as well you can check out Jelly G at Food Choices in Glorietta.

Make sure to LIKE their Facebook page to know more!

Much Love!

A Little Piece of Milk Tea Heaven With Boba Milk Tea

I am quite curious with the milk tea craze nowadays. I don't really know why it is all the rage but I found myself craving for more after the first sip. Now I know why its all the rage.

I actually found this place when me and Anne of annvassadress.tumblr.com passed by it when were looking for a place to stay in Timog one Saturday night.

In a quaint little shop we saw boba milk tea! I can't really remember the exact of the milk tea I got but I remember that it has assam tea. Memory is getting a little scratchy so I think I need to take down notes next time. While Anne got I think was Jasmine or Wintermelon. Mine has the nata de coco while Anne doesn't have any toppings.

Out of all the milk teas that I've tried, Boba milk tea really has more of the milky taste rather than the tea. It was quite weird but that is how I felt about it. And also I noticed that if add on toppings and changed the sugar level, the tea really changes its taste.

Price wise Boba milk tea is quite affordable - a large size actually is about 70 pesos with the toppings!

But aside from that I think Boba Milk tea is something that I could say can be a cheap thrill to me when on a night out and I want to kill the buzz of drinking too much or after partying with my friends.

Boba Milk Tea is located at 195-A Tomas Morato Cor. Sct. Fuentebella, Kamuning, Q.C.

Have you tried Boba Milk Tea?

What do you think about it?

Make sure to comment below I would love to see your comments about this!

Much Love

Lovin' Every SiP

For a couple of weeks now I have been drinking SiP which is a milk tea establishment near our office.
They specialize in chilled tea drinks. For one thing that I noticed in their drinks is that its not that bitter since they steep the tea.

As a tea drinker for quite some time there is a big difference when a tea is steeped or brewed. When it is steep, there is the taste of the tea leaves but not bitter after taste while if you brew your tea it still has the same taste but has the bitter after taste.

I have tried a couple of their drinks which are strawberry milk tea and their raspberry yakult tea which tastes soo good!

You can also choose to add on some toppings besides the typical tapioca to egg pudding, coffee jelly and even aloe vera.

Their drinks are quite refreshing since they are not too sweet due to their natural sweeteners. They are also affordable since one large milk tea is about 100 pesos which is great if you are a student that has a penchant for milk tea.

I really recommend this drink to everyone since its refreshing and also its affordable and you can choose your own toppings with it!

You can get yourself some SiP at Robinson's Galleria, Pearl Plaza in Ortigas, Dr. Quintos St. in Malate, and in SM Sucat.

I will definitely be getting more SiP in the future for sure!

Much Love!

xx Alice

Moonleaf is Love! ^_^

Last Friday, Me and my officemates went out to eat after work and we decided to go to Il Mercanti.

Il Mercanti actually serves food that is just delicious and also fit for our budget.
And when we were there, I was able to get my Moonleaf fix.

Moonleaf is a tea shop that I actually discovered when I got bored one afternoon and started strolling in our neighborhood and to Teacher's Village.

Moonleaf according to their website is a tea shop offering freshly-brewed tea mixed into a variety of delicious and refreshing concoctions in which milk tea being their popular offer.  If you are a certified foodie that lives in QC, you would know that Maginhawa St. in Teacher's Village is a way to go if you want to eat good food without burning thousands of pesos. And I am serious with that :D

And I remembered I first tasted it I was a bit not sure if this will taste good since most milk tea out there usually taste just like tea and doesn't have a hint of tea in it - confusing I know. So when I first bought it I tried their best seller which is wintermelon tea to know if it really taste great. And I was quite shocked that IT IS GOOD.

The drinks actually range from 45 PHP to 75 PHP which is really nice. If you want add ons like pearls or aloe vera you can just add 10 PHP.

If you want to know more about Moonleaf tea and their drinks visit their Facebook Page here.

Have you tried Moonleaf tea? What is your favorite flavor? let me know on the comment box below and I'll talk to you soon!

Much Love!
