Ozamiz City holds Peace and Order Meeting

Ozamiz City - Last December 2016, The Local Government of Ozamiz City held a Peace and Order Meeting to foster improved coordination among the various institutions, agencies and other stakeholders to bring about a more peaceful Ozamiz City.

This Peace and Order Meeting came in such a good time because Ozamiz City is now getting more attention due to its recent familiarization tour back in October in which it showcased a different Ozamiz City.

Mayor Reynaldo "Aldong" Parojinog was overwhelmed over the presence of the City Peace and Order council members who wholeheartedly supported his administration.

"Operation Tokhang led by the City PNP has given us and the Ozamiznon a sound sleep. This is the result of our renewed trust and full cooperation with the PNP" Parojinog said.

"Regaining trust and strengthening our unity will truly make our goals and objectives possible" Parojinog added.

Among those in attendance is Police Chief Inspector Jovie Espinido, Lt. Hadjial Talib, Prosecutor Gines Beduya, Vice Mayor Nova Princess Parojinog, DILG Provincial Director Pablio Benitez Jr., CLGOO DILG Jenny Villagonzalo, Gilron Sumalpong of National Bureau of Investigation.

The City government of Ozamiz is very serious in eliminating illegal drugs and also helping the victims to law enforcers in which Parojinog expressed that it would bring him so much happiness if his fellow Ozamiznons that who sell and use illegal substances would willfully surrender instead of turning into drugs as a solution.

"This and more could have not been possible without the full support of all Ozamiznon" Parojinog said.

And as 2017 comes in, The City Government of Ozamiz city has more plans to eliminate drugs and to establish a more peaceful Ozamiz with the help of the various institutions and agencies.
