HOW TO: Get to Boboy's Iniwow!

I know most of you will ask WHERE IS BOBOY'S INIWOW LOCATED? (kelangan ganun para intense lol)

So here are some ways you can get to Boboy's Iniwow for the travelling foodie.

IF YOU ARE COMING FROM QUEZON CITY:

OPTION 1: I suggest you ride the Jeep with the signage Rosario/Citi bank/ De Castro. Make sure to tell the driver to drop you off at De Castro or to Jenny's. Next is to ride a G Liner or RRCG Bus with the signage TAYTAY/CAINTA. Tell the conductor to drop you off Brookside, the drop off point is exactly in front of CK Square.

OPTION 2: From Aurora Blvd, ride the jeep with the signage JUNCTION. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Junction then just walk to CK Square.

IF YOU ARE COMING FROM ORTIGAS:

Ride the same RRCG or G Liner Bus as mentioned earlier and make sure to be dropped off at Brookside.

From what I remember the same RRCG Bus passes by Greenhills center and its route is going to Quiapo so if you are from Manila make sure to remember that.

Now I have to eat because of all the food I see in front of my computer is making me hungry.

I hope this post is helpful! Make sure to leave a comment if you have more options to go to CK Square.

Much Love!

How to Prepare for Office Celebrations

Hello everyone!

Problem with birthday celebrations with your co workers? Or you just want to celebrate for a job welll done with your co workers? Here are some things you can do.

1. Plan ahead of time.

If planning for a party to celebrate a co workers or your friend's birthday it is best to plan ahead of time what is needed to be bought or assign who's going to bring the food.

2. Finger food is the way to go.

If you have limited budget and also you don't have a lot of time to prepare I would suggest to get some finger foods like chips and dip, fondue dip and other food that you can easily prepare before you head out to work.

3. Think about the budget.

One of the things that I really consider when I handle get together is the budget that each person has to give out. If you don't have enough budget, just work with what you have. If you work with a team, having a team fund is best, but don't splurge too much if you have a team celebration.

4. Pot luck is never old

I know most people can't afford to wake up extra early just to prepare food for 30+ people for a pot luck party. If you can't prepare it you can buy it at a restaurant.
5. Don't feel too burdened in bringing what you have.

Sometimes people I know feel burdened in this kind of situation because its stressful sometimes since there will be side comments about what you brought. My only advise is don't mind them since you still made an effort to prepare for this celebration.

And lastly, not everyone are in favor in company celebrations but don't be put off by them, its their personal preference to be like that so just enjoy the party and have fun!

Any suggestions you have when having a company celebrations? Let me know below!

Much Love!

How to make instant pancit palabok

Hello ladies! I know the title sounds weird since there is actually no easy way to make pancit palabok. Not unless it is an instant kind from Lucky Me! :D

I think this is a new product since I haven't seen a TVC of this in any channel I watch. Retailed at 13PHP, this is a great afternoon snack. I remember when I was younger my dad would buy me palabok which is actually good for 3 people, but me and my dad would be the ones eating it.

How to make Teoppokki (Korean Spicy Rice Cakes)

Ola! I'm back with another post!

This time though it will be to teach you how to make Ddubokki or Teoppokki.

It basically means spicy rice cakes in Korean. I may speak a little Korean but I don't speak the language fluently so don't ask me anything further than that ok? haha!

I will be teaching you the instant version of the spicy rice cakes so you can make this within 15 minutes or less.

Teoppoki / Ddukbokki is composed of fish cakes, rice cakes, some veggies and of course its sweet and spicy...well more on the spicy sauce.

I originally made this because my mom bought the ingredients already and she is too scared to over cook it. I am not a good cook, but I know how to follow instructions well so I did it for her.

Since Korean groceries have been popping up like mushrooms your ingredients are fairly easy to get.

You'll need:

1 pack of rice cakes
1 pack of fish cakes
1 sachet instant teoppokki sauce
water

I did not add veggies in this one because I am not sure what veggies I should add. And quite honestly the only veggie in our refrigerator is ampalaya.. Ick!

so let's go with the procedure first.

1. Wash the rice cakes first.

2. Cut the fish cakes in smaller bite-size portions.

3. Add water to a pan. I would prefer to use a pan than a pot but either way they work.

4. Put the rice cake and fish cake into the pan and cover the pan. Wait for it to simmer.

5. Once that it is simmering, add the ddukbokki sauce and stir until the sauce has become a watery-thick texture. If you like it to be more on the watery side you can add more water.

6. Also check if the sauce is just right for you. If it is too spicy, just add sugar to lessen the spiciness.

And that's it! There's not a lot to do with this recipe since it is an instant meal.

I actually like to enjoy eating this hot since one the sauce cools down it will have a jelly-like texture.

Try this out and I'm sure you'll like it!

I wanna learn how to make macarons!

Macarons or macaroons as we know it has changed throughout the years.

I remember that only Macaroon I know is coconut. That's it.

This delectable treat actually came from France. The French pastry shop called Laduree first made these. These treats actually made a cameo on a film entitled Marie Antoinette. Yep you guessed it, its about Marie Antoinette.

And one of the tasks I would have to accomplish is actually make these precious treats.

I am not really sure where to start but I will find a way to make one ^_^

A macaroon is actually made from almond powder, powdered sugar and among others.

I will try to make more blogs about my cooking experience! :)

I miss cooking and I want to learn more cuisines as I grow older :)

Wish me luck!
