SumoSam's Grand Opening at Gateway Mall .. yum yum! ^_^ *caution food porn ahead*

My mom's job is to send entertainers to Japan and Korea, so ever since I was a kid I basically grew up knowing Japanese cuisines and its culture, which I have grown accustomed to.

It was really nice that there are more Japanese restaurants since me and my family eat out in these kinds of restaurants.  Japanese food culture is actually getting some hype here in the Philippines since more people are more curious in eating new cuisines.

Food Finds: Instant Japanese Noodles

There are days that you feel you just want to curl up and sleep all day...Well for me there are. And usually on those days I would just lay in bed thinking what to eat. But being so lazy I subjected myself in eating anything instant for that day.

A couple of days ago I was terribly lazy that I forgot to wake up earlier to cook my pack lunch and I was in so much hurry to get to work that I just grabbed one of these to eat on my way to work.

This was given to me by my god brother since his mom sent him some of these as well as some chocolates that I've blogged earlier.

Instant Japanese noodles are quite different that other noodles that are in the market since even if you over cook them they won't get really soggy. I especially like Instant noodles from Japan since they are so filling and one serving of this is good for two people, but if you are really hungry this can definitely solve that.

Most Japanese noodles sold here are priced around 45 PHP above which is considering the tax and other miscellaneous stuff added to it. But overall its a good thing to have when you are in a hurry to get to work or you are just plain lazy to cook your meal for the day haha!

Kroketten: Fun and Healthy Potato Dutch Snacks

If there’s one type of carb that Filipinos have a strong penchant besides rice, that’s potato. Whether mashed, fried, in a salad or soup, we so love its flavor and feel of the tiny grains that melt wonderfully in each bite.

Since snacking on potato is one of the most popular sustenance and enjoyment in the country, there is now a unique variety that is surely yummy, appealing, and extra healthy for everyone. Best thing to know that it’s made affordable for all!

Food (Drink) Finds: One Plus Green Apple Iced Tea for only 10 pesos

Ola ladies!

There are times that when I am really thirsty that I just grab anything that can quench my thirst.

That actually happened to me a week ago when I was in Makati. Luckily I was able to see a Mini stop nearby so I was able to get a drink.

I have that manner that when I'm thirsty I don't really care if its expensive or not I just need it to help me not get dehydrated.

I got the One Plus Green Apple Iced tea and I was surprised that at the check out the cashier told me its only 10 pesos.

Taste wise its good. It has green tea with a dash of apple that is quite refreshing especially on a hot summer afternoon.

I'm not really sure if all mini stop sell these or this is only available at that branch only. But be sure to check this one out.

Much Love!

Indulge Item of the Week: McDonald's Green Apple Sprite Float

Due to the summer heat, I have been forced to buy one of these. I was also in the mood to try something different from my usual tumbler of iced tea to quench my thirst everyday.

I was kinda glad that their floats are very fruity which suits for those who wants a refreshing taste after being in the sun for some time. I was just a little bothered with the after taste the ice cream has but what else can you say since this is a float.

I got mine in green apple which was my first time to try. I like that it is refreshing and the scent is divine. I really like the scent of apple for some reason and the taste just hits the spot.

The price is also reasonable for 29 pesos for the regular one. You can also get this with a medium sized fries for 50 pesos.

Great drinks are really something if you want to try it.

You can check out any McDonalds to get a taste of this.

Much Love!
