TINAPAYAN FESTIVAL, House of Breads – Speaks of Real Bread Flavor and No Other

There are only a few small businesses that turn into something near to an institution in a community after of years being in the business. I remember when we had our own small family business of an eatery that almost everyone in our neighborhood knows.

Our 'claim to fame' is basically what my mom cooks - from Adobo to even fried chicken everything gets sold out immediately. It wasn't until the late 1990s that my mama and papa decided to close it down because they can't manage it anymore.

And whenever I find these kinds of businesses I am so thrilled because it really takes a lot of hard work not just from the staff but also the owners to keep it that way! And for Tinapayan Festival: House of Breads, bringing that value and importance of bread to the public is what makes them well known.

You know when you were in elementary and you go on school field trips to museums or pencil factory? 

I remember that all too well because that usually happens when I was in elementary. 

High school memories revisited at Kamuning Bakery

Initially a family owned bakery Kamuning bakery has been bringing delicious breads for about seven decades. 

I have fond memories of Kamuning bakery in relation to their breads since I lived out my high school years with Kamuning bakery in almost every scenario that happened when I was in high school. 

Food Finds: Veggie Bread at 7-11

I am a busy person and there are times I forget to bring my food with me to work so the next best thing for me instead of buying fast food is heading to the convenience stores near my office. 

I usually buy bread, canned tuna and pineapple juice or any juice I see on their chiller. 

I was actually curious with this bread that is why I bought it. This is like any other bread but it has veggies in it. 

Its quite cheap in its price which is 19.00PHP which is less than a dollar in the US. 

As upon opening it I was kinda curious what it would smell like since that would usually be my way to say if it tastes good or not. I know I'm weird so don't say it hehe!  I was actually surprise that when I opened this it smelled like pizza, I'm not kidding this REALLY smells like one! 

By taste it does taste good but not great. I'm no connoisseur but I think its because this was not fresh when I bought it. It was actually near its expiration date so I wasn't able to feel its crispiness. Ah the memories when I became a baker's apprentice.. sorry daydreaming again :) 

But overall this is a good buy if you want a different kind of bread.
