Try out The Old Spaghetti House's Latest Offerings (LOTS OF FOOD SHOTS)

Hey guys!

I remember back in the day...okay that sounded that I am that old but here goes.

I remember when me, my dad and my siblings would go out and eat just to chat and catch up on what has been happening.

Good times...good times.

Me and my siblings usually like eat at restaurants that offer a variety of food for all of us to enjoy. Just like that I am really happy because The Old Spaghetti House - our favorite place to eat out has new things to offer!

Here are some of their latest offerings.

Roasted Corn and Pumpkin Chowder.

This is a cream based soup. It has a smokey taste from the roasted corn yet light sweet after taste. Very filling to the tummy for a starter.

Grilled Chicken, Apples, and Almond Salad.

Has a very fresh taste to it from the apples and the dressing. It tastes really good and I would recommend this if you love apples and almonds - I am in a happy place with this combination.

Ham and Cheese Croquette.

Okay I would just like to say this is a great appetizer to be shared. It has a very filling taste that only one is enough for you.

Cajun Seafood Fry and fried wanton with spinach cheese dip

This is sort of a calamares for me. But it has a much better kick to it in addition with the dip.

Fried Wanton with spinach dip

The dip? It made me think of the combination of spinach and cheese...everything is great with cheese. End of discussion.

I have only introduced to you the starters...ready for more?

Lets start with the pasta selections.

 Penne Inasal.

If you think Inasal is just great on its own - try it in penne pasta form.

Two words: Utter.Perfection

Breakfast Pasta.

Its breakfast - in a pasta form. Need I say more?

Okay honestly its great but for me this isn't my type of pasta though.

Chili Con Carne Pasta

Okay I have never thought that chili con carne and pasta would fit well together but it did~!

It is chili but not the terribly hot type. It would give the sides of your tongue that zing when you eat it.

In other words - I love this!

Spaghetti Ramen with Seafood in Ham Broth.

Put it into two words: Fusion madness.

I like the innovation of using spaghetti noodles instead of the regular ramen noodles. There is a lot going on with this dish which would not confuse your palette at all.

Before we move on to the entrees lets go to the pizzas that were served.

4 in 1 pizza.

This pizza contains 4 different flavors such as The Pinoy Pizza, margherita, Seafood Pizza, and Bleu Cheese with Arugula Pizza in a thin and crusty pizza.

The combinations are great and I like that the crust is thin because the taste is more intense and flavorful with a thin crust.

Next up is The Pinoy Pizza.

From the name it self no doubt that it would contain pinoy flavors into it like tapa, tomato, and salted egg.

The flavors are superb and really pinoy it is really a must try!

Seriously making this post is giving me cravings right now...but lets move on!

We are now at the entrees section.

Half roast chicken.

It has a mild and soft flavor into it. It has a side serving of shoestring potates and some leafy greens but my recommendation is to pair this with pasta.

Cajun Grilled Chicken Jambalaya

Compared to the previous version of this food, it is bigger now since they have used chicken breast which has more meat and less fat. This is so flavorful compared to the one I had before.

Angus Beef Strips

This dish is so flavorful and soft that I was chewing continuously to savor everything.

And for dessert we had Van Dough Cookies!

By far the most chewy and mouthwatering cookies I have ever tried!

The fun part? They are gluten free!

Here are my top commendations to try

1. roasted corn and pumpking chowder

It is a light and savory starter to the meal and great as well with kids if you want to sneak in some veggies in their soup.

2. Grilled Chicken, Apples and almonds salad

Apples. Almonds. and Chicken = awesomeness.

nuff said.

3. fried wanton with spinach cheese dip

This sold me out by its dip itself. Everything is great with cheese!

4. Penne Inasal

A definite Pinoy favorite with a twist.

5. Chili con carne pasta

A pasta to those that are a fan of the two food combined into one. And don't worry if you don't like spicy food, you won't regret this one.

6. 4 in 1 pizza

This is a great barkada pizza to try. It has a mix of flavors everyone will surely love.

7. Angus beef strips

Chewy Angus beef in a flavorful sauce..ahh so much heaven!

8. Van Dough Cookies

If you are looking for the ultimate cookie experience minus the guilt factor. Must try for sure!

That is it for today's post! I hope that you don't hate me for the food porn because I feel you my friend, after reading this post I think I will go to The Old Spaghetti House to have some of these.

Also make sure to like their Facebook page for more update!

Much Love!

xx Alice
